Growing up in a rural area of southwest Iowa made me appreciate the independence that comes with rural land. I can still vividly recall the wonderful sensation I got when I was out in the fields, whether I was hunting or checking on the crops.
I recognize the significance of that, as well as everything else that went along with it. If I can make someone’s dream of owning their own piece of property a reality, then that’s a great day.
